Our Concert Bands

Wind Ensemble

The Sebastian River High School Wind Ensemble is the premiere instrumental performance ensemble at Sebastian River High School. The ensemble has received Superior ratings at all festivals under the direction of Mr. Chase Jones. The ensemble prides itself in performing significant literature from many genres and style periods. Members of this ensemble make up the Pride of Sebastian River competitive marching band. This select ensemble has performed at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, the College Band Directors National Association Southern Division, the Florida Music Educators Association Conference, three times at the the Bands of America National Concert Band Festival in Indiana, the University of Florida Concert Band Invitational, the Stetson University Concert Band Invitational, and other festivals in New York City, Boston, Atlanta and Nashville.

Wind Symphony

The Sebastian River High School Wind Symphony is an elite instrumental performance ensemble at Sebastian River High School. The ensemble prides itself in performing significant literature from many genres and style periods. Members of the Wind Symphony are also in the Pride of Sebastian River competitive marching band.

Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is an audition only ensemble designed as a training ensemble for the Wind Symphony. Members of this ensemble have at least one year of high school band experience and are also members of the Marching Sharks. The Symphonic Band performs a variety of literature at the Fall and Spring Concert as well as the Prism Concert and the FBA District Performance Assessment.

Concert Band

The Concert Band is designed as training ensemble for the Symphonic Winds and Wind Symphony. Members of this ensemble are also members of the Marching Sharks. They perform at the fall and spring concert as well as the Prism Concert and the FBA District Performance Assessment.
